2 tiny mice instead of one big??
If I cant find a pet store that wants the extra mice that get to big for me to feed my bp. could I feed it 2 smaller mice, instead of one hopper? like before they get to big or w/e.

Re: 2 tiny mice instead of one big??
I wouldn't go smaller than a hopper. The nutrition of baby mice is different because their bones are still mostly cartilage and they have not developed as much muscle, I guess.
Most BPs could take a small adult mouse as their first meal. How big is your BP? I'm not sure why you'd be having trouble with the mice getting too big. That is a problem with BPs and rats, but not usually with mice.

May not be to your liking, but, you could freeze them. Also your ball python could probably/maybe/might eat a bigger mouse than you think. Just ideas.

She is only 1 foot 7 inches.
so shes not very big. i've always heard dont feed anything bigger than the widest part of her body. and from what i've read and researched mice grow pretty fast.

Mice do grow pretty fast up to the adult size, then they really slow down and it takes a long time for them to get up to jumbo size. Since most BPs can take an adult mouse as their first meal, or at least very soon after that, there usually isn't too much problem with the mice outgrowing the BP.
