What Type of Rat is this
I had a litter that had 2 females like this. One had little white and the rest of body was the same as the head of this lil girl in picture, and both have red eyes.
The mother/father rats are both het albino. Is this normal to have red eyes when not all white.

Re: What Type of Rat is this
I have a siamese rat that looked exactly like that as a baby, but then she molted out and now just has siamese markings. Here she is...
I think I was told that she was a capped siamese.
I dont have a current picture of her but this is what she looks like now...

I couldnt tell you without seeing pictures but I know that there were other rats in the litter I got my siamese from that had more of the cream marking then she did, almost all over their bodies like you describe. They also molted out and had just the siamese markings, but they also kept some of that cream color on their heads.

Can't see photobucket. Any change you could put it in your bp.net gallery?

Re: What Type of Rat is this
Oh, I see it now!
She is either a beige siamese, which explains the lack of a gradient (i.e. dark nose), or just a poor beige (RED) and she is young enough that her eyes are red in the flash.
She does not look like a champagne (PED) to me.
She is a capped/ split capped/ capped head spot.
