time to switch to bigger tank?

My BP is about 465g now. He is in a 10g tank. Is it about time to switch him to a 20gallon long?

I would switch him when he is closer to 800g. I just put my 450g girl in a 32qt tub and she looks so tiny in it, lol.

This is my personal opinion though.

An 800g will fit fine in a 10g. That sounds about right for upgrade.

Most people will keep sub-adults up to 1500g in a 28/32qt tube and then around that size upgrade into a 41qt.

Your 400g ball will be fine in a 10g for a bit longer, remember they like confined spaces.

It's up to your snake, really. If they look like they're wanting more room - wandering more and pressing into corners, then upgrade to the 20long. If they seem perfectly content in the small space, hiding and still eating, then they're still alright in the 10g.

You just have to learn how to read your snakes.
