    Frisky eater or really hungry?

hes around 6 months old and growing fast. Ive had him for 2 months and hes never had a problem eating live. Still fits in the palm of one hand though im increasing the size of the mice.

There is no scenting the enclosure, no gettin in the mood. I drop the mouse in, in the box, out of reach, and hes immediately up there tring to get it within 30 seconds of putting it in. I drop the mouse in, and its about 5 seconds until he snatches it. then swallows it in 5 - 10 minutes. then hides and doesnt move much for a day and a half to just over two. I feed him every Friday. Going to move to something a little larger next week. Ive seen healthy eaters, they arent much different, just cautious with the baby.
