    Day count

ok,,second season,,and first one i am actually paying attention to dates(being out fo work means to much time on my hands),does the day count start are pre lay shed,or ovulation?,as i see people talkin about eggs coming on day 35-42 or so on,but on markus jayne's page, said liek 22 days after pre lay shed,so for example, mine ov'd on 3/25 and pre lay sed was 4/18,so when would her due date be?

5-18 -- give or take. Cooler ambient and hot spot temps will add days between POS and lay date. 28-35 days is the norm. Good luck.

    Re: Day count

This is the average time line

    Ovulation

14 days after ovulation pre-lay shed

27 to 35 days after pre-lay shed, egg laying

Of course this is the average I have had females laying 40/42 days POS.

That allows know know when to expect your eggs as long as you do not miss or mistake any of the signs
