I love guinea pigs, my Mom always used to have one as a classroom pet (she taught 2nd grade) and would bring it home during the summer. They make the cutest whistling noises.
There is a story on her name... the neighbor was calling her Jack and told us she was a guy... no, she's not post-op or anything... but it is harder to sex guinea pigs than I thought! Anyway, we were calling her Roger until we found our her actual gender, and Rogetta doesn't sound as good as Jackie!
