    just got done shedding!

    ok guys my new bp just got done shedding!

    i wanna go in and give him new paper towls n fresh water but a lil nervous.lol

    n e suggestions on how to handle a just shedded bp?

    o n i shouldnt try n feed him since he just shedded should i?

    Just because he just shed doesn't mean you cant pick him up to change the substrate, as far as feeding, that's up to you, some people wait a few days.

    Handle him as normal. I do routine cleaning and tub maintenance regardless of if they are in shed or not. Feeding is really the only thing that I stay away from.

    If it just shed handle away.

    I cleaned my cage after my bp shed, she had no problems that night. And she was so hungry the mouse barely hit the ground before she snatched it. You would think we starve her by how quickly she goes after her food. I think it depends on the bp, some eat during and after shed, some don't. They only thing you can do is try. If you feed live, be ready to remove if your snake isn't hungry. You don't want to damage that beautiful new skin
