    Question Shed Completed & Question

Well, last night Merlin completed his shed and I've only had him since Monday. His skin came off in one piece and it's amazing how brilliant his color is now compared to before. Of course I never saw him before he was ready to shed so I wouldn't know how vibrant his patterns were. I was scared he would have problems with his shed due to being re-homed and so forth, but everything went great!
Now, I have a question. It's recommended that you feed your snake after a shed, but with this snake just being re-homed, should I still try to feed it now or should I wait the week that is normally recommended? If i wait, then he will be fed on Monday evening. Thoughts and opinions?
    Later,

    Bri

He would probably eat now if you preferred him to....I would wait a week to 10 days personally to offer him food...

    Re: Shed Completed & Question

Some people have different methods as far as when to feed a new snake. No matter when I get a new snake I offer food on what ever day I call feeding day. If they eat the eat, If not I'll try them the next week. I've been lucky I guess cause all mine have eaten with in a few days of getting them. Since your talking about a boa, give it a shot there great eaters.

Boas usualy eat when ever you put food inthere face. so i dont see the harm in offering. if he takes it great, if not then wait till next feeding day.
