Not 1, But 2 Adopted Today
I posted about the Red Tailed Boa I adopted today from a young lady who had to get rid of her extensive reptile collection. Well, along with the RTB I snagged a male and female Ball Python. They are regular pythons and not morphs or hybrids or anything like that. But, they are extremely docile and tame and love to be held. I will get pics up tomorrow once I get their habitats set up. Best of all, they are HEALTHY!!!!! Anyways, it feels great to actually own not only one, but two of these pythons. Now if I can just get my wife over her fear of these creatures things will be alot better around here.

Do not keep any of the snakes together. They should all be separate.

I have seperate habitats for all 3. I'm still setting things up but they are already loving life and are happy to be exploring. I'm just glad I had a couple setups ready when I got them home. It made the transition so much easier...

It only took over 8 years for my husband to get over his fear of snakes, and to let me have one. Now he LOVES the ball pythons and wants me to get more! He even calls 2 of them "his!!!"
Patience, LOTS and LOTS of patience!!

Re: Not 1, But 2 Adopted Today
It's gonna take some getting used to on the Missus' part. I explained to her though that all 3 were VERY docile and did nothing but wrap around my wrist and bask quietly, only occasionally moving about the explore.
I think she'll get used to them, it's just going to take some time. Heck, when we first met and she found out I had Iguanas, she swore she'd never get used to them either. I could tell they were already getting to her as she kept coming in last night and watching them as they expored their new habitats. She even complimented on their designs and colors. I'll win her over, it'll just take patience and time.

Re: Not 1, But 2 Adopted Today
Congrats on getting your first 2 balls. The one I want is a little more then I would like to pay for it, so it'll be awhile before I get mine. Unless I happen to adopt one. As far as yall significant other loving reptiles, I wish I could find a girl who was into snakes, that would own, well she would also have to accept a motorcycle, but other then that I would be completely satisfied, well no, I take that back i'm satisfied with my snakes, but atleast then I'd have somebody else to share it with lol. BTW, post some pictures of your adoptions.
