Belly or Back Heat?
Hey, I am in the process of building a new rack and I have read that back heat is not beneficial for Adults. I am wondering what your opinions on this are. Thanks!

As an explanation to why belly heat is important...
For younger ball pythons, the smaller enclosures can be heated properly just with back heat. For adults however, they can not get the proper heat gradient, and it is much more beneficial for their digestion with belly heat

although that is only a few individuals thoughts and not proven that either belly heat nor back heat is better than the other

I use back heat and never had a problem. They eat poop and shed with no problems.
