Very nicely done. Are those 32qt size tubs? What are you going to use for heat? I can't wait to start building mine.

It can hold 32qt. But I'm using all 15qt. since I have another rack for all 32qt.

For me I spent a total of $34.00 and that's just a 4x8' sheet of melamine. My dad already had the drill, screws, and clamps. And for the sizes I measured tubs to know how big of shelves I needed. Oh and the people at Home Depot cut it all for me.

Looks good. I remember a time, vaguely, when I built my first rack. Of course things were different then. We had to go to the forest, find a goodly tree, cut it down, by hand mind you, no chainsaws back then, haul the trunk to the mill, cut the boards and THEN do any building that needing attending to. Whew.

Wasn't but a few short years later I had over 300 snakes in racks.

It's sort of like the steep incline on a roller coaster, up, up, up so very steeply, a momentary pause to see that you are absolutely crazy and those ants are really people before you plunge headlong and unstoppably fast into the world of Herps, around and back, thrown back and forth, buffeted and buffered by forces unseen, wickedly used and thrilled almost every second of it. Ahhhh, the good old days.

    Good luck Kid.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
