new hotel...
so i got my BP a new hide..yeah I called it a hotel to add some fun to it haha. Anyway, it is the same hide as his warm side hide now. I switched to this because he was getting too big for the half coconut on the cool side. Well he crawled out of his warm side hide, checked out the new one, laid on top of it...then as if he didn't like it, he went back to the other one. Should I switch back to the coconut?

Re: new hotel...
i kinda felt like i should just leave the coconut. That is a little smaller and snugger for him, and he still fits, but sometimes i wakeup and its on top of him hahaha. I'm probably confusing him, and pretty sure soon he's going to need the new cave hide...if there is a pretty common agreeance that I should leave the new one in and let him get used to it im going to do that.

Re: new hotel...
You should have two identical hides, that way he doesn't have to choose one that he likes over the other, because he will choose the one he feels safer in.

Then they are probably not the right size.
They should be snug and super tight, log hides are also useless.

oh they are not logs they are closed on all sides with a small hole for him to get in and out and it is nice and snug!
he just doesnt like to be in there i guess

Re: new hotel...
Hi,
Are they new?
It can take them a little time to get used to them and feel happy there is nothing else living in them on occasion.
