There are countless threads on making those into a cheap rack. Do some searching and you'll find a few. Most come up with the same conclusion that they will not work.

They won't work. Trust me. When I thought those would work too I bought a bunch and well lets just say later that night there were BP's all over my floor!(Kind of exaggeration here) LL But yea they came in use eventually. Now they hold some feeders and extra supplies.
