    Talking Redecorated (Pics)

I got bored yesterday and did some redecorating. Now that I think about it, I should have taken some before pics. I'll try to keep that in mind for next time.

Peyton is up top in the 40 Gal and Pie is on the bottom in the 20L

Peyton scoping out the changes. I think he approves.

Pie even got a new lid & clamps - the last screen top lived a long life

Chico (Golden Gecko) is up top and Poot is on the bottom in the 10 Gal.

    Where's Poot?

    There's Poot!

And for good measure, I threw in a close-up of Chico's digs!

I'm happy with the way they all turned out. Let me know what YOU think

It IS fun! I'd do it more often, but I get carried away and it ends up costing me way too much! I hit the jackpot though at Wal-Mart. They had a clearance on all their fake plants. I believe I spent $12 and it was more than enough to do all 4 enclosures (with leftovers).

Thanks a bunch Jake! I should have posted pics of what I did with the leo's tank. He is living like a king! Hahaha! Hey, why didn't you tell me this cutie wags his tail when it's time to eat! It is the cutest damn thing I have EVER seen! Oh, and the little bugger bit me 3 times yesterday. Have I mentioned how spoiled he is? I hand feed him...maybe that's why I got bit? LOL

He never tried to bite me, but I no longer hand feed leos. I learned my lesson a while ago, and it only took me getting bit twice.

Very nice looking! I personally tlove to have great looking enclosures too. Hopefully mine will look as good asyour someday. I'm sure that redecorating wasn't exactly free tho.

Just the other day though I made a new hide for my snake. Went to the local craft store bought some moss like stuff a leather paper tray that when turned usidedown was a god size for a hide. spray glued the moss and other fake leaves on the hide, cut a hole and viola = natural looking hide. I will share whenever I get a camera.

    But great looking tanks!!!!

    Thanks a bunch!

It definitely wasn't free, but not expensive either. I believe I spent a total of $28, which allowed me to re-do 4 enclosures. Not too shabby. Plus, I had a lot of the stuff laying around from previous critters. I'm all for cost effective.

Wow, 28 bucks! Where do you get your supplies from? Over here our exotic pet stores charges an arm and a leg for a fake rock/leaves.
