    # of Mice to Feed

First I must start off by DANCING!

My male has eaten for the first time in 5 months! Tonight he took two midsize mice (apologies, I forgot to weigh them - but they were adult females, I know that means nothing without a weight, sorry. ). He was eating one small rat once a week when he went off his feed.

Tonight has shown me that he'll take multiple mice. He is a 550g snake, he lost 50g over the past five months.

So, my question is... how many mice should I offer to him next week?

    Thank you in advance!

And since I haven't posted a photo of him in a loooong time... here he is.

55g-82g worth of mice that's 10-15% of his body weight, but I'd stick with 10% until he's feeding regularly again

    Thanks, greatly appreciated!

I'm hoping this is a trend, and not just a fluke.... he was such a strong feeder until I switched him to rats. He's never taken rats as enthusiastically as mice, but I was always afraid he wouldn't take multiple prey items. Guess I was wrong.
