Mira Pics (red dobie)

Haven't posted pictures of Mira in ages. Mostly because she's just darned hard to get decent pictures of. She blends in with my dark red furniture...so if she's laying still, she's almost invisible. If she's moving around, she will inevitably walk out of the picture. And those moments when I can get her still attention for a moment, I get bright eye-shine. Outdoor pictures are about impossible to take because outside, she's perpetural motion.

The other day, she wore herself out tearing up a pillow...then crashed on the chair. Before cleaning up the mess, Petra amused herself by piling the "snow" on Mira...

And lastly, just a nice shot I caught of our "little lap dog". Actually, Dean was calming her down from a spastic moment and got her to relax in his lap for a few minutes. She doesn't usually sit in our laps. And never, unless invited first.

I agree, if I hadn't read that Petra put the fluff on her I would have thought she chewed her way into the chair to have a lovely nap. She's looking gorgeous btw!

Thanks! She's about fourteen months old now. Still very much the puppy...just bigger!

It was one of her crate pillows (one of two)...so the only loss was hers. She tries to "steal" the other one from time to time, but so far I catch her and just keep her locked OUT of her crate unless she's sleeping. She always wants to drag out her pillow and blankie for a bit of "harmless" entertainment. So far, she hasn't shown any interest or indication toward chewing on the sofas or chair. Still, we don't usually trust her alone in the room.
