You may also try some other big breeders that you don't automatically think would have them (like NERD). You may find that they have animals from GHI. GHI animals are super sweet looking in person, so if I were to get another i'd shoot for one from them.

Actually, I personally am good friends with Mitch(diamondreptiles), he has Green Tree Pythons that have a great temperment. His GTP's have actually one of the best temperments i've seen on the aroboreal species. So if you want to get one, that has better temperment, and will not try to "kill" you if your hand goes in the tank, then talk to Mitch. With NERD I would call to see what they have. They have tons of stuff that's not listed on their site.

At two and a half feet, it would be considered a juvenile.

Check www.Kingsnake.com (Classifieds) they have quite a few reputable dealers with some nice looking ATBs. I even saw a few Reds. Just remember to check the dealer/breeder/seller on the BOI (Fauna) before finalizing a sale.

I don't know your experience with snakes, but ATB's are much more forgiving that a green tree.

Neal, Green trees typically have great dispositions, as do many emeralds.

What is the Fauna thing? I have heard of it but never actually looked at it or seen it.

I'm not sure what i would consider myself as when it comes to experience but I have 2 bps and a RTB. After reading the caresheets it seems relatively straight forward. I am going to go with an ATB though for my arboreal.

I have checked out his site but it doesn't show any available animals, plus it will probably be 3+ months before I get one.

I talked to a guy/girl (not sure, no name at the end of the email) at GHI about their reds, tigers, and candycanes and was quoted at reds starting at $350, Tigers at $1500, and candycanes are not available yet . I may go with them depending on the reds that ATB.org has.
