    Question soaking in water bowl

    are bp known for just soaking in there water bowl two of my bp did it at the same time same day almost about the same hour

    weird?? huh

    I look for mites, ticks, etc. no shrinking scales

    what could it be

    ???????????

    if there are not mites, maybe they are goin to shed soon and are seekin more humidity?

    what about snake is trying cool down? Probably during that time of day is too hot in viv for him/her...

    if your regulating your viv temps it shouldn't get hot enough that it has to sit in its water to cool off. probably a shed coming if they don't have mites.

    Reasons I'd think about...

    Mites
    Shedding soon
    Low humidity
    Too big of hides (water touches all sides, makes them feel hidden)

    Check your husbandry for anything different that could get them to go soak. Balls arent really known for soaking.
