    They make me smile

Do your BPs make you smile? Mine do. I check on them and just seeing them makes me happy inside. It's so cool to see their reactions and curiosities.

    Ahhh ... mah babies.

Only one in my collection. My male bumblebee "Bee" is unlike all the others. I know it seems silly to become attached to a snake but I just love this guy. I smile everytime I see him.

    Re: They make me smile

Oakely actually recently got himself stuck (partially my fault). His humidity was too high and I figured out that the screen top off of a 10 gallon will fit over his tub just right. I didn't think he would try to escape through the hole I had in the screen top so the handle from the class top would go through it. Well I was downstairs and heard Ashtin yelling for me. I walk into my room to see Oakely's fat butt stuck in the hole and looking at his butt like "why won't you fit!" lol. I cut the screen a bit and pulled him out and taped it up so he didn't do it again. It's almost like he wanted to be stuck because he had his tail wrapped around the frame of the bar.

Another situation that made me laugh was last week we fed Oakley before Hissy and I think she knew it...she was cruising her tub looking for her mouse and when she figured out it wasn't in there she knocked over her thermometer and just glared at me like "haha, I win."

    Re: They make me smile

My snakes melt my heart and make me smile all the time.

Sometimes it is random, other times they do that one thing they are good at, but either way.

    YES!

I have one big adult female named Olive. When I tend to her enclosure she will come out and wrap my wrist so I cannot close the tub back up. By the time I resign myself she is usually sitting there with her head resting on my hand being the cutest of all cute snakes.

Makes me grin each and every time, and each and every time I pull up a chair and take an extra ten minutes to handle her and remind myself why I keep these amazing snakes.

Sometimes even that makes me smile. If someone answers "no" to this poll, I'll have to wonder why they are on this site.
