    You can often find some very nice ones right here. http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/f...splay.php?f=69 But it's a little early in the season for new babies. I would always go with a private breeder for your first snake. Most pet stores tend to sell imports.

    Baby season will usually run from May(maybe a little early) to mid to late Oct.(maybe a little late, but you get the point) and the breeder doesn't necessarily be in your area as they can be shipped via fed-ex, but if you wanted to get local then tell us where you are and someone can help you find a local breeder.

    Late summer is a great time to buy an new baby BP. You should have a good selection, as many will be well started and ready to go to a new home at that time.

    Keep an eye out for local reptile shows, and go to some before you're ready to buy. It's a great way to make contact with your local breeders and see what types of BPs they usually breed (morph wise), and let them know what you're interested in.
