    Very pretty girl!
Make sure your 20 gallon has 3 of the 4 sides covered with a dark paper of some sort, 2 tight hides on both ends (or more) and lots of foliage and cramped plants everywhere. This will avoid stress, and any eating problems.
Let us know if you have any questions, and welcome!

    Good luck!

Pretty baby. Pictures that show the whole tank would help us help you more, though.

Yes, as blackcrystal said, make sure the back and both sides are covered with opaque material and then with insulation material of some sort (cork and foam board are best). Also, make sure your screen top is treated with foil or plexiglass (other materials don't work as well), and that you have two identical hides in there that surround her well. Logs and plants are all great cover, but BPs need their hides to feel truly secure...especially little BPs.

Welcome and have fun with your new little friend!

Re: My new baby ball python in her 20 gallon long

i actually just posted a problem feeder post on General BP and they said the big tank could be stressing her out so now I put her in shoe box with a hide and a water bowl and from there I'm going to down grade her to a 10 gallon.
