Herp Friendly Apartments in Chicago?
Hey there all. I got accepted to, and started going to a good college here in Chicago. I've yet to find an apartment, so I've been making the 50 mile commute for the past week. I found a great place, they had said anything an enclosure would be fine, and then when we started talking about the lease, they withdrew that as soon as we mentioned snakes and said "no exotics". This leads to my question - Does anyone know of any apartments in Chicago that allow reptiles?

Where about in the city? My son goes to college in the city and I could ask him to check it out but he's on the south side.

I'm going to Loyola, so basically Rogers Park, Edgewater, or anywhere I can take the L in from. This "four hour drive when it snows" junk has to stop! XD
I was thinking of calling up the Chicago Herp Society and seeing if they maybe know of any herp friendly Apartments. It's a long shot, but why not try?
Sent out e-mails to another 9 apartments, describing what BPs actually are, how they aren't from the movie Anaconda, and asking if they would be allowed.
Firehop: Loyola is on the far north-side, I'm pretty sure; sadly.
WickedBalls: They blatantly allow reptiles there? PM me about where it is? Doesn't need to be plastered on the forums

Try a ghetto-er place like Logan square, Avondale, Albany Park
