    R.I.P. Pugslee

Though I have been a member since 2003, I have not posted for a long, long time. I just wanted to post a memorial for my trusted buddy of 17 years. My dog Pugslee...passed away yesterday at 3:30 pm at the vest office after a battle of pancreatic cancer. I had pondered over and over for the last month if I should let him go. Monday I was crying my eyes out and bent over and asked him "Pugo (what I called him), what do you want me to do?....He raised his head, stared me straight in the eyes, licked my hand then laid his head on my lap. I then knew what he wanted, and what I must do. I made the decision to end his suffering. I hope he is waiting at the rainbow bridge when I cross over.....Thank you Pugo for being such a great loyal friend.....R.I.P. little buddy.

Here he is several years ago checking out my BP Monty.....

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always hard to make that decision, but in the end I'm sure he thanked you for it. I'm sure he'll be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge. My thoughts are with you. *Hugs*

What a beautiful long life you blessed him with! I am so glad that you both had eachother and that you shared so many wonderful times together. What a beautiful gift it was to have him let you know that it was time. May his sweet spirit soar within and around you always.
