Re: Het Red Axanthic or ...

Thanks for the replies everyone! That's the only reason why I'm doubting her, she doesn't have "squiggles" which was kind of confusing at first. But few people said the same thing broadude said. One of his female het red breeder doesn't have the squiggle also.

But anyway, do you guys think I should try and prove her out now with a male that is ready to breed right now, or wait till my 08 het red male becomes ready? What do you guys think?

    Thanks again for the inputs.

Do you have a pic of this snake? Just so I can compare them. By the way you're a neighbor, I live not too far from Vacaville

Hey Briz, my male het red looks just like her. Pretty snake.

Here are some more pics of "Scarlet" my Possible Het Red Female haha...

Whether she proves out to be a het red or normal, I think she's really pretty and I really like her. Great disposition and ate two frozen small rats last night

Nice, she is worth working with. Even if she isn't a het. red hopefully she will at least throw black backs for you. Keep us posted.

I've got 1.1 Het Reds and you would swear the one is a normal and the other has about as much visible red that yours does...again photos don't do them any justice.

Right!! I even had pics of my 1.1 up and quite a few people were pegging her as a Normal!

Pictures don't do them justice...but his surely looks like a Het Red to me. It's unusual to find that much red in a Normal. IMO, Normals gravitate towards brown and tan tones.

Dont forget everyone that het reds that come from het reds, look more like normals than het reds from reds.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat
