Still hasn't pooped - should I feed her?
Help, my female ball still hasn't pooped in almost a month - should I still go forward with her weekly feeding tonight??? She also hasn't peed in like 15 days - geez what is going on??
Help.

What's your substrate? How old is she? How much do you feed her?

Re: Still hasn't pooped - should I feed her?
Hi, I line her cage with the brown indented craft paper. I feed her once a week (she eats three mice). She is an '07 hatchling so the nears as I can tell she is about a year old and she currently weighs about 625grams.

Well, I would still feed her...
She may be backed up, but she still needs nutrition.

Yep- I'd feed her too.
I was just wondering if you were missing the pee or poo because she was little and on aspen or something

Re: Still hasn't pooped - should I feed her?
No, I can always see the poop and pee really easily. I guess I might soak her tonight prior to her feeding to see if she will poop. Have any of you ever had this happen and should I be concerned about this??
Thanks.

Re: Still hasn't pooped - should I feed her?
Some snakes just like to hold it in, and when you least expect it (mostly right after you clean), they EXPLODE!!!!!
So yes, it happens.
If she is swollen at her vent or close to the tail, and you can feel lumps when you press gently, she will be due to go soon.

Re: Still hasn't pooped - should I feed her?
So, your best advise would be for me to just be patient with her and not to worry???

Re: Still hasn't pooped - should I feed her?
Yes...
But if you choose to soak her AND you feel the lumps, you can gradually kneed it out of her if you so choose. It's just not pretty nor is it really necessary unless she is really really really swollen and impacted.
