Not bad at all. I would keep those gals (and stud) around. And maybe hold bac a few babies.

Watch that those little ones get enough milk - when you have mixed ages like that, the smaller ones don't get enough milk from the older ones bullying them off the mom. Learned that the hard way.

True, I pull all of my prego females and give them their own tub. I put them back into circulation after they wean their babies.

    Re: Good produtivity

I've had 3 more litters since I originally posted. All of 12. Still have two more pregnant females that are going to pop soon. And it looks like one of the moms might be pregnant again. I've only lost 4 babies from not nursing. And one I found that looks like one of the moms tasted it a bit (below the ribs was missing).

    Re: Good produtivity

Yeah I just had 2 first time breeders pop out 25 between them. One got suffocated though since one of the girls likes to pile all the babies up in one corner while the other one seems perfectly happy just to steal 2 or 3 and nurse them lol. Then two of my larger girls had two litters of 16-18 each (same tub had 35 babies crawlin in it lol. I love good rat months!
