Re: Can you house together and breed 3 female rabbits and one male?

    yeah.
that was one of the only colony type set ups that made sense.
i would handle the babies tho, just because you want to be able to get ahold of them without causing them stress

hopefully i'll be able to clear out my dogs old dog run, and set up some meat rabbit colonies... who knows...

and you have to figure, if he times it right, and has does producing 10 a litter, 40 a month is not far out of reach... you'd need atleast what 3 colonies of 4 does to get this - while giving them a break... not to bad...

im curious if my BPs would eat rabbit... atleast once in a while... they are not picky eaters....

They probably take baby rabbits, I know mine are pretty picky. One of them eats only live mice and nothing else. The other eats frozen rats, but stopped eating 4 weeks ago, up until then it was an excellent eater never refused. My 7 foot boa has been the best feeder of all - never refused anything, eats live, frozen, rabbits chickens, guinea pigs, rats, mice he even eats frozen chicken wings.

Hello fellow Massachusettsian. Drugaria, I do have a question for you. How did you find out that your boa would eat frozen chicken wings?
