Pics of Belle and her new stuff

I got belle a new 20 gal tank yesterday. i also put the aluminum foil over it and the humidity is staying in better than ever! with every shed her colors are getting brighter and BRIGHTER. right after her shed she looks like like a bumble bee (not the morph, just the black and gold) she feels very pastelly to me, but i got her fom petsmart last year so i know she is a normal.

    the tank:

the foil taped with tons of painters tape (it's the only tape i had):

    the humidity:

i got the large, half log and she is still falling out of it. any suggestions for something bigger that will still fit in her tank?

    see how bright she is!:

    she's got great flames:

and this is the only spot on her belly, it's right at her bellybutton:

    belly:

does she look pastelly to you?

not so much a pastel but very nice markings and colors!! Her belly is really nice too.. she also has almost granite like markings

shes beautiful. i must ask have you thought about getting different hides? perhaps two that are more enclosed to offer a bit more security for her? I know there are some basic black hides that work great for our snakes... make sure and monitor your humidity at all times, you dont want it going too high.do you have any thermostat probes to measure temps/humidity??

Nice colors, some pet stores do carry some really pretty normals, im in the middle of deciding whether or not to get a pretty normal right now myself.

as for the hides, there are loads of great things at most $1 stores, they have cheap tupperwear containers and pots, let your imagination go wild and you will find something cool.

    Pretty..

I suggest a clay flower pot with the top knocked off.

    thanks!

yeah, i've seen pictures of those black hides but i haven't seen any in the pet stores. i'm going to price some in the internet for her christmas present.

i use a temp gun now because the thermometors i used from the pet store sucked. i also used to have a hydrometer but it kept falling off, i'm looking for a better one. there isn't a uth in the picture, i'm getting a bigger one because the one from her 10 gal. tank is too small, plus it gets pretty cold here at night so i also put a cover over her at night.

she's getting more for christmas than i am LOL!

yeah, i can't believe how good her colors are getting, when i got her she was just a normal brown color, but her markings really struck out at me. i'm very happy with the turnout.

so nobody thinks it 's a pastel? i heard of people randomly getting them from places like petsmart and petco before. she started off just a normal brown color and has gotten sooo yellow.

First off, outstanding looking Normal, very nice markings!

I think your humidity might be a touch high based on the condensation in the picture...as a general rule, 55%-60% humidity won't leave condensation on a heated glass enclosure depending on the ambient temp in the room. I would suggest you get one of these:

I have one on both the warm and cool side of my enclosure, and they work like a champ and are calibrated at the factory so you don't have to do the salt test on them before use.

As for hides, these are a steal at twice the price:
