    setting temps

    hey guy's i'm in the middle of setting temp in a new rack does anybody have any tips thanks ritcherich

    90-92 on one side, 80-82 on the other. Always use a thermostat and always check your temperatures with a digital thermometer.

    I put the probe first directly on the flex watt and start taking readings a couple of hours later. With my racks, I needed to finally set the probe just a hair away from the flex watt and that did the trick. Use foil tape as that works really well by staying put!!

    I use a temp box, with prob taped in the box, right over the heat tape. I set my heat to 88, using spyder robotics thermostat. Buddy tapes probe right to the tape with aluminum tape, you have to set the temp about 4 degrees higher this way, but save you a box...... just my experience.
