    I stand corrected....it turns out this girl isn't a Grammostola aureostria (Chaco Goldknee), but infact a Lasiodora difficilus (Brazilian Firered Birdeater). There was a mix-up during shipping, and she was just identified

    Nice work there! Yeah I'm not good with insects and spiders, but they sure are an interesting photographic subject....whats the cold cup trick you mentioned by the way?

    It is the same trick most photographers use for snakes and lizards, except you use a short, cool cup instead of a bowl, to limit their walking space and keep them from climbing the cup Keeps them in the general area long enough to get a shot.
