Well, they're not mine in terms of ownership, but I do feed/water/clean up after them. I think that counts just as much! Lol

If by relatively tame you mean they like to play rough! then yes! lol. I don't like to go in there with Delilah especally because her mate died in Jan of '07, and ever since then she will be fine one minute, then the next she will just snap. Shamira's a lot more docile, but when she wants to play, she'll bat at you with her paws. And playing rough with a 400-700 lb animal (Shamira's 600lbs, believe it or not) means bloody noses and such. They really don't realize just how big they are, or how fragile us humans can be. We can't bring wheelbarrels around Shamira at all anymore, because when she was a kitten, the kids would put her in a wheel barrel and give her a ride around the yard. Well, now that she's full grown, as soon as she see's one she'll hop in it and want to go for a ride, but she ends up breaking it under her weight.

    WOW!!
    I am soooooo jealous.
If my wife would let me, I could spend all day at the zoo just watching the tigers!

I would never want to own one, but looking after them is a diff story

    Re: Post your felines!

Here are my kitties, Spook is our domestic long haired calico (7 y/o), shes very gentle and never uses her claws for anything other than kneading when shes happy, and wants nothing more but to be petted constantly.

Miffy is our tiger kitty, shes 3. She on the other hand can be a grump. she's quick to swat at someone she doesn't like hehehe. Everyone picks on my Miff, they say she looks like a boy
I love this pic of her w/ her tongue out.

and a cool pic of Spooks eye, she has stars in her eyes LOL (looks like a galaxy in her pupal)
