color question
so im new to boas. never had one but would like to know a little more about them. i really like the little gray ones. of course they are red tails...i know that much at least. but im unsure of the orgin of them. i see alot of columbian and all that but don't know which ones are the gray ones. what i want to know is what are the gray ones called? and does the gray fade when they get older?

Re: color question
I actually dont understand your question.
The tail is grey? (if so, thats an Anery)
Or the body is grey?

Re: color question
Maybe you're thinking of the straight up Bci from Columbia or the Bcc Suriname??

Re: color question
When they are babies, normal's seem like they have a grayish body, but often only in photos. I have had 1.1 het albino BCI's (still look normal) for about 2 months now, and when I saw the pics from the breeder, they looked gray, but when I saw them in person it wasnt as drastic. Still a little grey, but not like it seems in the pics.
I havent been back to his site in a while, but look around at jimisnakes.com

Re: color question
The only experience I have with this is to look at my own, young, normal Columbian Bci. She is 1 1/2 years old, very clean, and still an awesome gray colored body. No fading or dulling. I can take a picture of her in a couple of days; all the snakes ate tonight!
Jimi and Pat will, I'm sure, chime in with more experienced responses

Re: color question
Baby normals are born with a greyish look to them that will fade out and turn brownish as they age.
