    Sad, sad day

Well, it has come. The day when I must sell all my bp's. I have a family and a kid on the way, and monetarily it just doesn't make sense to keep them. Good bye to you all, and thanks for your guidance regarding my babies.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

wow... that really stinks. congrats on your child. Hopefully things will calm down and you will choose to get back into the hobby, dont be too hasty in getting rid of your snake stuff, we did and i kick myself everyday for it we had some NICE equipment/husbandry supplies a couple years ago and got out of things for the same reason.

lord knows its a butt load of work here with our personal collection of 9 snakes, 3 leos, 2 rabbits, 2 kids and a few other critters around

It is just money. I was at the grocery today and it was tight, and I was just thinking is it fair to feed my snakes 50.00 a month in food and rising when things are tight at the grocery. I know it is just fifty dollars, but that is a lot at when you don't have much.

Congrats on the baby on the way. It's unfortunate you have to sell your snakes but maybe things will work out later. Good luck!

    Re: Sad, sad day

i can understand the money issue, i started breeding rats just cause i couldnt justify 100+ a month to feed my snakes, ive got 3 kids and its really tight sometimes, ok all the time lol
you could name the new kid after your snake though! and who knows maybe he might eat a rat or two for ya! i would prekill it though or F/T
    gratz either way

Good news!!!!!!!!!! My fiance talked me into keeping them, at least for the time being. Thanks to all for you support. Hopefully this all works out in the long run.

I hope it does work out for you. And just a kudos for recognizing the burden and being willing to give them up. Lots of times people wouldn't or couldn't bring themselves to do that when it comes to animals.
