How are the temps in your room? If it's too warm your production will decrease.

Re: Males not getting job done?
How old were all the rats when you got them? Do you rotate the males through the females every other week?

Re: Males not getting job done?
I think 80 is getting too warm for rats. Not terrible, but can be a cause.
When you first put them together, they were all over 250 grams? They should be quite bit larger if two months have passed since then.
My thinking is if they are just now 250 grams, it may be another month before you see pinks.

Re: Males not getting job done?
If 80 is the cool end of AZ, then you will certainly see production levels lower than normal.

Generally, the youngest "best" age is around 3 months, at 250+, they sound a tad too young.
