Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Re: More pinks!
ASF's are adorable once they get their entire coats in, but, at the pink stage, with those guard hairs, they remind me of trantulas. Anyways, YAY for pinks!

Re: More pinks!
Mine are tame as any ASF's here in the US. They arent devil dogs like Ed's, but yea.
If its any help, their mothers had 15 and 16 each their first time.
Then out of their 5 daughters, 2 had 18, 1 had 17, and 2 had less than 9.

Re: More pinks!
please dont laugh at me for askin a common sense question but i dont know much about ASFs what is guard hair exactly? to protect from predators?

Re: More pinks!
My ASFs are mostly nasty. One (one eye) tries to bite me every chance he gets. I've been bitter harder by ASF weans than by full size rats.

Re: More pinks!
There definitely seem to be different strains/lines with vastly different temperments.
These guys from Greg seem to be pretty nice so far. And all the others I got from Ed and produced were nice, save the breeder male - who is resting in Bailee's belly tonight! LOL
