    question about breeder websites

I'm not planning to buy from a breeder online any time soon(there's a reputable breeder in the vicinity of where I live), but when I look at prices, often times it is "some amount$ shipped". Does that mean the price includes shipping, or not? Thanks!

Yes that means that thats the total amount to have the animal shipped to your door.

    Re: question about breeder websites

I know that when I price animals on my site and include the word "shipped" after the price, I'm trying to communicate that shipping is included in the price. I figured that was pretty standard, but I'm not always the best communicator in the world, so if anyone has been confused by my ads or site I apologize.

Maybe it would be better if I put $xxx.xx (includes shipping) ... seems like maybe that would be clearer?

Great post .. thanks for pointing that out ... sometimes what's obvious to one person isn't obvious to others ... something that I constantly have to remind myself as a business owner.

    Thanks!

    Re: question about breeder websites

I know when I bought mine from Adam I wasn't that concerned about the actual shipping cost. I was more concerned with Fedex messing up or doing something stupid with the package. I rather spend a lil extra to get something that is top notch!

0.1 BP Spider- Name Unknown (not shipped yet)
    Hopefully another one soon!

    Re: question about breeder websites

Maybe "shipping included" might be better than "shipped"?
