    habitat pics.

Ok I decided to go stand alone as far as my containers, I just bought 2 50 quart rubbermaid clear tubs..should this be enough or will i have to change sizes once the snakes get bigger? Can you guys post some pics of the tubs you have for your snakes? I'm interested to see if this will be a big enough size..

Here's one of my current stand-alone tub setups. This one holds my first bp, who is now pushing 700 grams. I just finished building a nice display tank for her that I'm moving her into tonight or tomorrow...

The tub in my last post is a 40 quart. But it's only like 8 inches tall I believe. Maybe it's 6". What are the dimensions of the 50 quart tub you got?

I would say that should be sufficient for a while at least. Once your bp gets bigger, you may want to switch out to something with more floor space (longer) and less height. Since bps spend most of their time in hiding and on the ground, the extra height isn't necessary. But if your bp is a baby, I'd say that tub should get you through a year or more at least.

    Ask and ye shall receive:

15qt Juvie tub (home to an adolescent corn) 16"x13"x6"

'Large' Rubbermaid clear (for subadult BPs and young adult corns) 26"x16"x11"

90qt Adult tubs in rack. 32"x15"x12"

I prefer taller tubs for older snakes, as you can see. That's why my racks are homemade. The other tubs are stand alone.
