    Question about the pastel trait

I have an opportunity to purchase a pastel for a good price. The guy is bright, bright yellow but his eyes are blue and black. I thought a pastel had to have green or yellow eyes to actually be a pastel. Could someone fill me in?

Re: Question about the pastel trait

If it's a bright pastel, you'll know it without even seeing the eyes. Pastels do have greenish eyes, but normals don't have blue eyes. The only balls with blue and black eyes, that I know of, are blue-eyed leucistics. So if it looks like a bright yellow pastel and has lighter eyes that aren't black, I'd imagine it is a pastel.
