    My new snake, Goliath

Hi, my name is max and i am new to the fourm. I reacently acquired a 2 year old male ball python, and now i have this huge love for snakes. He is no special morph, and is just a normal ball python. Thought i might as well post some pics.

He's a lovely bp and I'm sure a wonderful pet snake that will give you years of pleasure in owning him.

    Welcome to the forum!!!!

There is certainly nothing called "just a normal" Your ball python is devilishly handsome

And....yes...what is in the water bowl?? Is that a rock? Inquiring mind and all....

    Re: My new snake, Goliath

I used to put rocks in the water bowl to keep them from knocking it over.. but it makes it dirty.

But there is one thing I need to point out. NO TAPE IN THE ENCLOSURE!
Nothing adhesive! EVER! If the snake sits on it, and the area gets warmed by a lamp or the temperature, it can pull off scales or do worse. Please remove it, I don't want anything to happen, since he's so pretty and all. :]

Welcome to the forum. Those do look like rat bite scars. Do you know anything about the previous owner leaving in adult mice or rats for a long period of time?
