I've got my racks sitting on 3/4" melamine boards but the bottom ones still get a bit cool. I'll have to do something like that myself. Maybe throw a big chunk of insulation under there as well.

I picked up a 2nd 32QT rack to go with my other one a few weeks ago and it's top notch also . I think it might be an older design though because the tubs don't seem to slide in and out quite as easily but still freaking great! I think this year I'll be getting an RBI hatchling rack, 15qt rack and maybe another 32qt lol. Love your stuff!
Back on topic, I've got mine on carpet so I don't really have a problem but just to be on the safe side I don't have anyone in the very bottom tub (course I don't have spacial issues currently but that's gonna change VERY soon...... 2 shows next month lol)

i was thinking of just adding a spare chamber at the bottom and doing the same. insulating. since mine will be on the basement floor
