Best way to make the switch from ASF's to regular mice/rats?

Well silly me started an albino hatchling with an 2 week old asf... Well comes feeding time again, and he refuses a hopper... Then he refuses a pinkie... Not he refuses a frozen hopper... Put a 3 weeks old asf in there... He strikes it within seconds.

Any tips to make the switch from asf to hoppers? Maybe I should try a rat pup or smaller? Thoughts?

I did put the mice both ft and live in asf bedding to help scent them... No good though....

I really want to get this guy on f/t mice...

First off, is he on f/t ASFs or live ASFs? That could make a difference. You'll have to switch from A-B before you can get to D.
    A: ASF Live
    B: ASF f/t
    C: Mice Live
    D: Mice f/t

    Try the steps. :]
Try scenting the mouse with an ASF itself by rubbing one on the other.. (I know, poor ASF) but it'll help.

    Good luck!

Get a rat pup and let it sit in used asf bedding for an hour to get the scent on it

I would continue to feed live ASF's for now. get a routine going. once a month or two has passed, and the snake is used to things and strikes as soon as food is offered, then switch to a same sized live normal rat.

Or do something even easier.... keep it on ASF's forever.
