shedding
Ive had my BP for three to four weeks and she hasnt shed yet . . . my husband said that Petsmart told him that she didnt shed while she was there either . . . what does that mean? Also she looks a little funny on one side of her mouth, could that mean that she may have eaten something too big for her and will that heal?

Re: shedding
Hi,
When you say it looks funny what exactly do you mean?
Is it swollen or misaligned? If you open it gently and look inside can you see any yellow or red spots or peices of substrate?
Is it possible to get pictures of it?
How is it eating and can you describe your setup including the temps and where and how you measure them?
Sorry for all the questions but the answers will help us get a better idea of how things are going and if a vet visit might be in order.

Re: shedding
Ball pythons dont have a set scedule for shedding, Ive had some go 8 weeks before shedding. I wouldnt worry.
The thing on the side of its mouth worries me, if you could post pics that would be ideal, if not I would take it to the vet it could be mouth rot...

Re: shedding
it is slightly darker than the scales around it, it kind of feels like a scab would . . . I tried to get a pic of it but it was hard to get the camera to focus so closely. The cages humidity is at 40%, temp is 82 degrees below the lamp and 92 degrees over the pad . . .it just ate two days ago

Re: shedding
Its tough to say anything without seeing the area. I would take it to the vet, it could be a wound but if its infected it will only get worse. If its mouth rot it will only get worse...

Re: shedding
Also, the humidity ought to bumped to 50-55%
The vet idea is sound advice
