    Does everyone get cold easily?

Lately I've been spending a lot of time with all my animals. Typically my herp room is 80-85 F ambient. Now I cant stand to have my bedroom thermostat below 80 F. If I go anywhere I end of freezing. In fact I dont use my AC for most of the day. I just open up all my windows. BTW I live in SW Georgia! I've always been known as "hot-natured" so this is quite the change for me.

    Am I turning cold blooded?

Re: Does everyone get cold easily?

I've noticed the same thing happening to myself. I work in about 85-90 degree temps all day and when I get home I'm usually in the snake room which is also pretty warm. I usually find myself going into the snake room to warm up because my wife likes to keep the rest of the house cold. She used to be the one getting cold and now it's me.
    That's weird! lol

Yea, mid michigan here.... anything above 70F is too hot. I prefer it to be cool. Especially while I sleep. It had better be around 50. lolz

Re: Does everyone get cold easily?

I've always gotten cold easily. The girls made fun of me that I always had a jacket on while I was up at NERD. (that and I loved the nice and toasty monitor room!) Since I've moved to the south, I've noticed it's gotten worse. I think it's chilly if it drops below 80 degrees, and I'll start wearing pants. Heck, I bought a blanket to keep in my husband's car because he's always blasting the AC so much that my teeth actually start to chatter.

Re: Does everyone get cold easily?

Everyone that knows me jokes that I'm as coldblooded as my snakes. The roomies keep the apartment at about 74 degrees, and I am constantly walking around in double jackets. I put the hood up and everything. They all tease me, but really it sucks to constantly be cold. Sometimes I go sit next to the snake tanks to warm my hands or whatever. I've always been slightly anemic, so getting used to the heat from the snakes has only made things worse. -lol-

I do. I'm always freezing everywhere... In my office, at home, it doesn't matter. I think I spend too much time w/ the reptiles.

Re: Does everyone get cold easily?

I prefer the cold!! I spend to much time on hot turf( it has little rubber pellets in it so it is EXTRA hot) and 115 ambient temps and 100 humidity..in football pads..LOL. I have never been so hot in my life. We don't heat the house to much during the winter, we just light fires in the fire place, and that keeps the house nice and toasty, even for being as big as it is.

Re: Does everyone get cold easily?

I hate my work's heating and cooling! In the summer it is freeezing and on 95 degree days we sit around in hoodies and pants. In wintertime, they crank the heat and we all dress in summer tops.. lol.
