Where at in the Louisiana area?

I am from Southeast Louisiana around Slidell.

Living in Alexandria, I would recommend the shows in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

This one is the best in the area from what I am told:

I am not aware of any 'larger' breeders near Alexandria. There are several keepers in that area though, you may want to get in touch with Louisiana Gulf Coast Herp. Society as they do a big field herping event ever year in Kisachie(sp?) National Forest. It would be a good opportunity to get to know some fellow herpers.

I'm in the Baton Rouge area and I'm a smaller scale breeder at the moment. My dad is in Pineville and he's got a few snakes and lizards and such. Don't really know of any shows other than what daniel has given you.

There is a show this weekend on the Westbank at the Alario Center. My dad doesn't breed and sell anything but I do and when someone wants something he just gets it from me He's a preacher by profession...
