Re: herpstat II review wanted
The dimmer swithces keep my temps to low & the under tank pad by itself is to hot. Story of my life.
I think this would solve that, but the website is confusing so that is why I am asking here.
Hope you all are enjoying your Weekend with your bps & slithery pets!

Re: herpstat II review wanted
I have one and it's been very nice. It's easy to set up and is worth the money. It's basically two 700 watt thermostats in one. It also has night drop features on both outputs, and has heating/cooling settings too.
Get it! I got mine when I only had one snake, LoL.

Re: herpstat II review wanted
I have the herpstat pro but I will say herpstats are extremely accurate and dependable. I have two and will never buy anything else.

The herpstat pro is for people heating multiple enclosures or racks or whatever. I will be buying a herpstat pro for my new racks in a few months.

Re: herpstat II review wanted
I have not used the herpstat 2; although, I have used the herpstat and the herpstat pro.
The only problem with the herpstat is that it does not have a resettable fuse. So if you blow it, which I did, then you are out of luck. To replace the fuse you have to solder a new one in.
The herpstat pro, on the other hand, does have a resettable fuse, so you never have to worry about blowing it. It will just reset itself.
If the herpstat 2 has the resettable fuse then I am sure it is just as good as the pro model.
I also love the night drop on the herpstat pro.
