    Scars

So with all of the questions on what scars look like, here are a couple from my collection.

I do not have any that are "white", but here are the typical scars that you would see after healing..

This is a female who managed to wedge herself into a waterbowl hole and get stuck...

This is a severe rat bite that came to me as a rescue... She has healed up nicely.

    The scar is basically black.

You can see the differences in color, etc..

    Not morphs by any means!

Just damage that has healed differently than originally.

If anyone has any white scale scars to share, please feel free. From what I have noticed, they are usually either fresh wounds, or very deep wounds...

    Heather,
I have a female that I aquired from a friend that came to me with white scars. When I get home this evening, I'll get some pics and post them up. I can say that they don't affect breeding, as I have got eggs from her for the last 2 years, and produced some nice Spiders and Spotnoses from her. I also have a female that came to me with what appears to be a scar from an old burn, very near her tail, and I have got clutched from her for 3 years running.

I'll post up some pics this evening of white scars.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to LadyOhh again.
Great idea for a thread, Heather! Newbies ask about scars all the time and don't really know what to expect

    Re: Scars

I saw this thread and decided to post this photo to get your opinions. I purchased a group of normal females from one of the "large breeders" and one of them has this white patch. I always assumed that it was a scar. What do you all think?

    Re: Scars

My first bp Goliath came to me with several scars along his dorsal. The previous owner said he acquired him that way as well. You can see scarring also along the back between the spots in the second and third pictures. Scars run sporadically down his back, but goes nearly entire length of his body.

    Re: Scars

My normal female just shed yesterday and she had removed a few scales on the top of her head from something in hher enclosure (or so i assume) and she now has a white line where they were. I'm assuming white means fresh.
