what do u use to soak your snake?

    how long do u soak?

Can you post a picture of yours soaking?
Its been over 16 years since I have had to take care of a snake and I want to make sure I do everything correct. If I had not taken this snake, it would have been killed.

    Re: soaking pictures

I have never soaked my boas before and needed to soak one ball python one time. I filled a tupperware container that would also fit inside his tub (in the rack system). I filled it so that the tepid water was half way up his body. I also put a washcloth in there so that he could have something to rest on if he chose to. I put the lid on the container and put the container back into his tub on the warm end. I left him alone for about 45 minutes.

I took the container back out and wrung out the washcloth and let the snake travel through the washcloth a couple of times and that took care of the stuck shed.
