YAY!!!
At least you got to see them nice and clean...
Last sight I saw was muddy angry blind snakes
And again, that bright girl...
Yeah...
You can't keep them all..
Super stoked that everything worked out well for you, my friend!!!

The only downside to it is the weight! Steel is heavy, especially when you stack that much up like that. I'd really like to make one using aluminum -- but even with building it myself the material would still be pretty costly. Ah well, maybe by the time i need to build another one I'll be able to justify the cost.

Re: My new snakes
Did you have the rack powdercoated or is it just painted? Very very nice... my dad welds aluminum for a living...hmmm...

It's powdercoated, painting is too time consuming and messy for me. Aluminum would definitely be the way to go, but with the way steel prices are jumping up right now I'm kind of afraid to look into what all the aluminum for one of these would cost. If I remember right -- it took two 4' x 8' sheets for the shelving/runners, and five 20' sticks of 1" x 1" square tubing for the framing.

Thanks for the information. I'm pretty sure I could get all the materials at cost...just would have to pay my dad for shop time. I'll have to look into this further...
You need to start mass manufacturing these!
