Exclamation Lost my milk snake.. ideas?

I fed on Sunday, and I saw him in the his container on Tues, I noticed Weds/Thurs he was missing and tore apart the walk in closet/ reptile room to no avail.
He is about 12 inches long. Here could he go?
I checked under the stove, but it is in another room, and accross half the apartment.
SHould I check under the dvd player/vcr which are on a low shelf, near the closet?
I am starting to move next week and so will be tearing things apart anyway...
    Clues?
I have carpet so can't do the flour trick in the living room.

Start at his cage and systematically look in every box, nook, cranny, table, anyplace that has as hole or small space. Snakes are usually found within a couple feet of their enclosures and you have to check everywhere, even if you think he was too big to get inside. They are great at finding a tiny spot to hide in!

Set up a carboard box with a hole in the side, and inside put a bowl of water and a hide. It will need water soon and then take advantage of the nice hide you left for it.
