Re: WARNING: Animal abuser on the run

In all fairness, here is the flip side of the story. What is fact and what is fiction? Ya got me!

Re: WARNING: Animal abuser on the run

Regardless of whether this particular story is true or not, there are many other people like that out there - one of the reasons that craigslist provides a link when posting in the pet section that warns people of giving their pets away for "free".

I don't think the details of this story are as important as the point of it. If giving away a pet you should always check the person out as much as you can and trust your gut, between some of the programs I do with the police and the kennel I worked at you really can get a gut reaction to a person concerning animals - and trust your pets reaction too... I'm not saying story is or isn't true, but the message of it is dead on.

    Thank you for that, SS!!!!

I try to Snopes things, but sometimes I still get bit in the seat of the pants....but no matter. Dissed (on a diff. site) or not, I don't really care.

I just think it's important to put out the information, as there are too many J. Dahmers, Bundys out there, and ppl often forget to check before giving away their pets.
